„Statt nur die Schachfiguren, auch mal das Brett bewegen.”
Anastasia Umrik, born in 1987, has almost all the characteristics of a fringe person: Female, foreigner, dependent on a wheelchair due to muscle disease. At a young age, she decided by hook or by crook to become like others. So much was the desire to finally arrive, to be less conspicuous and to rather sink into the masses than to be constantly confronted with her own unfulfilled dreams and external characteristics. So she closed the door to her intuition and feminine wisdom and was very sure: It’s easier to live like this!
But the life lived for others does not go well for long. After the success of the two initiatives “anderStark – Stärke braucht keine Muskeln” and “inkluWAS – design, das denken verändert”, with which she discovered her creativity, a deep hole full of tiredness and lethargy followed. The body was also no longer distracted and rebelled, refused to function – nothing worked.
After a near-death Anastasia was forced to rethink her life and work and to find new ways to live out her own truth. She has set her priorities in the right order and has since decided to pass on her experiences and the individual view of the different systems, structures and lifestyles as a coach, speaker and author. Anastasia’s work is rarely about perfection, nor about politically correct phrases. Rather, it is about sincerity, authenticity and pausing again and again and listening into oneself: “What is it really about?
Anastasia is very familiar with the themes “new beginning” and “outburst of courage” from her own life. In her talks she takes the listeners on a journey through the most intense, humorous and instructive chapters of her life and lets them participate in how she found her way to the solutions.
